Maybe I need to listen with headphones or something because it sounds a little cheap. It is VERY late '90s/early '00s pop though, which I can def appreciate. It's just that it sounds very much like a production from that era and not so much a modern one homaging that era. I don't doubt that this will be a smash for her though!
It's official, 'No' will be played in her new Skechers commercial!

The 22-year-old, who recently shot her Skechers commercial at the Firestone Industrial Center in L.A., dishes exclusively about her brand new song to Us Weekly.
"For this commercial, for my new song (produced by Ricky Reed) we’re doing edgier stuff, we’re not doing the ‘50s throwback stuff anymore,” she tells Us. "We’re doing more modern. Hardcore. Which is my favorite, which is, like, more me, more M-Train, which I like.”
As far as her new album, Thank You, goes (which will be released May 13), Trainor hints that fans can expect some more of her strong, self-love themes.
