Preach. My charity case of 2015 was Reinvention, who called himself a stan yet only listened to Madonna albums that came out after 2000. I'd call it a partial success considering he still considers HC to be the best Madge album, but at least he acknowledges the past.

This, if this rate proves anything, it's the fact that it was a terrible year for pop music.

Ugh, it is literally the worst possible album to start with. Music or Confessions are the only appropriate post-2000 introductions to Madge and even then I'd say start with Like A Prayer, Debut, or one of the 90s albums.

I actually think the best way to get into Madge is to start with the Immaculate Collection to get into the classics (eventually go back and listen to all 80s albums in full), watch Truth or Dare to fall in love with her persona, then listen to Like A Prayer which hits harder after watching Truth or Dare imo.

Or just listen to Celebration, pick what you like best from that and find the corresponding album to listen to.
