Because if she broke the record this morning after 24 hours with about 19 million views, and it's been like another 13-14 hours, and the video already is at 36 million views...

I expected a slow build but god Miley is really bulldozing! Bangerz is getting that #1 debut and it'd be lovely if WB could be Miley's first #1 song. It'd really put the naysayers to rest.
I dig the song. I'm still having a hard time though recovering from the VMA performance. I was a stan for her before We Can't Stop and it was a definite adjustment after but I still stanned. I feel like there is a taste issue when it comes to her image. Plenty others have been risque like she's trying to be now, but all accomplished it with a quality of taste to it. I know Miley's young so I am counting on that as the reasoning now but I'm gonna need her to not be so tactless and a bit more polished when it comes to her image for me to stan again.
