I can't believe how this past week or so has played out. It really was out of my control, and I wish it could have been different.

All I can really say is that life got in the way. Crazy family/personal issues have been affecting me pretty much since I joined ATRL and I've done pretty much all I can to push forward and be happy but it seems though I can't do it anymore. Summer school started that Monday, church services/events that I have no choices but to go to (I'm a pastor's kid), as well as this internship I'm doing, so I haven't had any chances at all during the week to even use the Internet. I think I may need to take a break from ATRL altogether with everything's that been going on.

I feel so bad about leaving Marooner hanging, and not being able to do what I had to do because I know how much effort boyonce, and all the judges, put into this game (also considering the amount of people who quit). I am terribly sorry and I hope Marooner isn't penalized for my inability to be online.

Marooner & Theo: Well, it's no secret that Theo didn't contribute much to this partner challenge, and he's got his reasons (I'm glad you came in here to explain yourself, thank you Theo). However, I salute Marooner for funnelling that situation into a funny and unique entry. Did it amuse me? Yes! Was it what the assignment asked for? No, not really. Marooner can't solely be blamed though, I think you did your best with the given situation. I think your entry shows resiliency, determination, and drive.

Barbie & Jad: Love this. It's like a school yearbook! Great content, great presentation. More than anyone, you guys did what was asked. I wish you talked more in the thread like CrazyCat and Blue did, so we could witness your friendship forming, but that's my only complaint.

Scene & Nicki Minaj: Same deal with Marooner, Nicki was more or less flying solo in this partner assignment. Same to you, kudos for coming up with something and not giving up when your partner wasn't around to help. I think that says a lot about your determination, and that's certainly a quality I would expect in a Charm School winner.

I appreciate how you Marooner made a huge joke of the fact that Theo was not online thus really hindering your chances at doing well. You did great, and I really appreciate that. Of course it would have been better if we found out what you had in common versus an uncompleted dialogue but I suppose that's not your fault. Good work nonetheless!

Jad & Barbie – I thought your entry was really cute. It was as if you both were sitting next to one another pasting your favourite photos and writing in it. I especially love the (chemistry suxx) next to the title. I liked how you pointed out how you two were similar, and it showed us you really got to know one another. Wonderful!

NickiMinaj & Scene – So your entry was pretty subpar. I understand the situation you were in Nicki, and it seemed unfair, but I just felt like you could have tried to do something more to be creative. It just seemed like another promotional opportunity for NickiMinaj which if you recall, eliminated another contestant earlier on in the competition. Given what Marooner was able to pull without Theo's help, I think it isn't completely unreasonable to expect the same with you. In any case, you did submit something which is more than I can say for Scene.

Marooner5 & Theo: Awww, this was so sad. I wish Theo could've finished the challenge because this was a neat idea. Even though you guys didn't meet for long, I could see a connection. The conversational topics may have been generic, but it seemed like every flowed easily and came off genuine. Overall, the idea and concept of this entry is what really saves it. And Marooner5, you did a really good job this round. If Theo ever gets around to reading this, he should know to thank you for saving this entry from bombing.

Nicki Minaj & TheSeenScene: First off, where is TheSeenScene's part of this entry? Did he just not decide to submit? Anyways, the entry itself is alright. I laughed at your jokes and I feel like you two really connected if we're just going off of what NickiMInaj said. There's more to getting to know somebody than just finding common interests. It's also about seeing what they like and even if you're not familiar with the topic, try your best to give it a chance. And it seems like things went well here when that happened. However, without TheSeenScene's part in this entry it does come off a bit lackluster.

Su-Barbie-A & Jad: AMAZING. I read this entry like 3 times, it was that good. I could see that you guys got to know each other really well even with the time zone differences. You talked about music, TV shows, interests, disinterests, pet peeves and more. Plus, the formatting was gorgeous. I'm always a sucker for good formatting, and it looks fantastic here. I love the middle-school theme and how it was like a diary/journal entry. I also really liked how Jad came to like drag queens even tho he wasn't crazy about them at first. It shows that he was willing to give Barbie's interests a chance and put forth energy to making a real friendship. Overall, really great job guys, I can't find any negatives. I could see the amount of effort put into this and it payed off.

Marooner, as I've said earlier, I'm proud of you for making the effort to still submit such a creative entry albeit theo being completely MIA. I wish I could give some sort of commentary for theo, and I hope he's okay, but it's a shame that he left so abruptly during this round, but kudos to you for still submitting something creative such as this. Everyone loves to read a comic and the classic meme faces were a brilliant touch and seemed to perfectly illustrate the situation very well



NICKI & SCENE

First off:

NOW SCENE. How long have I known you and I've never gotten this privilege?

When I saw that you two were paired, I was excited to see the outcome of your interrogation potential newfound friendship. Yet like Marooner and Theo, you two didn't exactly get to finish your entry together as instructed. But unlike Marooner and Theo, one of ya'll were still active regularly and shared the same time zone I didn't understand Scene's lack of effort considering his enthusiasm for Charm School and I got the feeling he was pulling an Adam ("too bored, so I'm going to leave"), but I definitely appreciated the sincere apology and explanation.

As for the entry itself, I loved that you used Ririfan's Nicki signature gif to conclude your entry I also admire NICKI's Nicki collection and I know how passionate Scene can get about 2NE1 and other general pop music talk, so I'm glad to hear you two hit it off well and survived the stan talk unscathed.
