My thoughts as I watched this show on Hulu (so I don't have like 20 different posts on this thread):
Back to red lipstick, Xtina??? Well, it was nice while it lasted, and at least this time it wasn't as grating to me as before.
America's choices were predictable, and so was Cee-Lo's. But Adam really surprised me! I thought he would pick Jeff.
Frenchie SLAYED with "Like a Prayer"!!!
Nakia doing "Whataya Want from Me"??? Cee-Lo must be good friends with P!nk... It was good, but not amazing. I also found his interpretation of the song to be interesting, since every time I listen to it I think of it as a breakup song. But then again, it's hard for me to take it out of the
Funhouse context.
Really Adam Levine?? You didn't know the song??? And no, I'm sure he didn't sing it better than Adam Lambert. He was good, though!

When does the video for that Maroon 5/Christina Aguilera song come out?? It's good, though it doesn't sound like anything I expected from Maroon 5.
Beverly... WOW, just wow. She was amazing, and as much as I love Frenchie, if I had to pick between the two for the next round, I might have to go with her.
Javier was pretty good and did justice to the song. I'd pick him over Casey next week.

I see Xenia went back to The Script. Good move, I'd say, given that it was a Script song that made so many people fall in love with her voice. However, her lack of stage presence might spell the end of the road for her, considering that she's going against the powerhouse that is Dia Frampton. (As a Peruvian, I was also excited to see people playing the box [cajón] in her performance.)
Excellent performance by Vicci, too. Although as a fan of the song I felt it was short. Should definitely go through to the next round over Nakia.
Overall, the final eight were all great.
American Idol wishes they had that level of talent.
Sober, ****in' Perfect and Whataya Want From Me have been performed, Cee Lo talked about their friendship. Justin Derrico (guitar) and Paul Mirkovich (musical director) are in Pink's band and killin it on The Voice
