My only minor complaint is that Britney's arm appears to be a bit pixelated around the edges, BUT it isn't super noticeable. I'm not really a big fan of this entry unfortunately. It's a bit clunky for such a simplistic design, and I think I attribute that to a questionable font choice, which is very bulky and unappealing. The energy of this composition does not evoke the fun that I'd expect from this song, although I do like the cheeky parental advisory sticker.

I like how it actually feels like a cover Madonna would have. The font and color choices are good and I like the creative placement of the parental advisory sticker lol, just wish you would have cut it nicely so her hands would have been above it and maybe it could have looked as if she was holding it or it was printed on her dress. You also could have done a little bit more but I prefer this than some overdone mess.

I see somebody has been listening to Bangerz recently! Sometimes basing your designs off of a previously established theme is a great way to expand your knowledge. This is a cool aesthetic to play with, and it definitely works with the ~Tonight~ theme. Your cutting on Ariana is great, and the paint effect on the song title is a creative choice. I'm not a huge fan of the font you selected, but it does kind of work with the theme you were going for. Good job!

This honestly looks more like a Miley cover from the Bangerz Era than an Ariana cover. You even used Miley pngs in the background (I know 'cause I hosted the Bangerz survivor on another forum). So the concept doesn't do your artist justice but it's still cute and I like the concept and the work you put into it. "Tonight" would have looked better tho if it was one plain color or had a neon light effect or sth. The CD is cute too (much better than her original ones).

Single covers are your forte and you pour out all your creativity when designing them and I understand why you submitted this.
But you could’ve made this a lot better in quick time tho.
The black border is veeryy thick and the girls look kinda small. You could’ve cut the pic so the girls took up more space on the cover and then reduce the thickness of the black border.
The font choice is also very bad. I would’ve chosen a more simple and neat font and maybe made it green instead of pink.
I made an alternative version of your entry that I would’ve given a solid 7 or even a 7.5 but I don’t know if you want me to post it. You know … some people get offended.

I really enjoy this soft green, pink, and black palette. It has a youthful yet classy vibe to it. After finding the original picture you used, you can see how much color editing was done and it was done well! The cutting/shadows are solid, although there is a bit of the red background near their hair, and Ally's leg is a bit choppy. The shadow underneath "Tonight" also stands out a bit strangely in my opinion, but the font is cute.

You need to do the right job on refining the cutting tool. Look at Ally back. It looks very blurry. And i am not sure why is her left torso have this shadow(?) there. There is no pink in the picture yet you used the pink color on font. So disappointing. Even the text is not that great either. Likewise for the text placement again!

The shine of the pink light that circles around brendon looks cut on the bottom right and top left.
The three lights on the bottom aren’t really needed. It’s not like there’s a lot of space that needed to be filled out.
The fonts are nice tho, they go well with the overall image and the cocktail and ice-cream cup make sense since the name of the song is ‚Tonight'

This is cute and colorful! I love the neon affects, and I think they captured the theme of "Tonight" pretty well. For the fonts, I suggest a mix of two different fonts usually when one of them is calligraphic... so for his name, something a little simpler (maybe a sans-serif font) would have tied it together without going overboard. Also, one thing I have noticed about your submissions so far is that some of the imagery appears to be low quality in pixels. What resolution are you using in your PSDs?

I LOVE neon lights so I'm glad you used those in your cover. The technique behind making them look real is a bit tricky though but I'm sure you'll improve. The colors are amazing but it just looks a bit crowded and could have done with a little less work. Good entry anyway!

This is your best entry so far. I LOVE the effects and the circle thingy behind Nicki. The cutting is great as well. Just wish that 'TONIGHT' was fully visible and cut in the parts where it overlaps Nicki or a bit smaller and spaced more so it would have looked better. But great job!

Oh, this is really good. I love the neutral color palette -- especially how the background color contrasts with their skin tone. The picture choice is perfect, as it shows a bit of humor and sexiness, which is a great combo for "Tonight". The ONLY questionable aspect for me would be the font you used for the song title -- it's honestly pretty good as a standalone, but it looks a bit odd next to such large "Lady Gaga" text. Two different sans-serif fonts next to each other don't make for the best recipe, but it's nothing too major.

You should’ve put the Tonight font so it goes from top to bottom like MasterXPosed did, since Rih is not centered and there’s lots of empty space to her left.
The font itself is not even that bad.
Take out the mirroring and the smaller tonight font tho.
The black band and the Rihanna font could’ve been scrapped completely and replaced with her classic R sign.
Imma give you some extra for the effort tho.

The lighting effects and colors are good as well. I would say the background is throwing me off a bit though? Is it supposed to be separate shades of blue like that, or did you mean to blend?

The picture could have been better. I feel like you should have chosen the one with her without bra (that one, you know) That would look great. Aside that, there are so many text effect there. The original with a bit left sided with reflection with smaller weirdly placed at the right. It just ruins the whole look. If you have chosen that other picture, parental advisory would be on LIT. Ditch that black bar or you could chosen the splatter look brush with text over it.

I think that you did a good job of working with the grayscale and purple hues again. They are subtle but classy and effective. The font choice for "Tonight" is not good, but the "Angelina" font is placed pretty well and I could see it on a real single cover. I'm definitely torn on the moon in the corner -- on one hand, it helps the theme a lot, but on the other hand it looks out of place.

I love that you were inspired by the aesthetic that Years & Years has used in the past! The geometry and colors allow for some very intriguing designs. I like how you placed his image in the center of the shapes, but I think you could have adjusted the lighting to make him appear brighter. The font selection is also a bit cheesy IMO, and I think when you have a lot of bright colors in a design, creating a moment of calm and clarity through simple text can be worth it.

I think that your neon palette is really strong, and that section of the entry looks good. I'm not exactly sure what happened with the outlines around Tinashe's hair, but they are pretty choppy. It almost looks like a tree growing out from her head. I think the outer glow could have been really strong if you had refined those edges some more. I'm also not a big fan of the font you chose for the song title, and the gradient effect makes it hard to read.
