Gotta agree with that  ... Although, if David Cook had a video for "Always Be My Baby"(which is just a recorded version from an AI performance but was a huge radio hit in the Philippines), I think it would have topped and smashed the MYX Chart...just my opinion

Agree. The song could have blocked Jonas Brothers' "When You Look Me In The Eyes" to top MIT20 for 11 weeks and HC for 2 weeks.

Quick question, Do you think anyone from the current season of Idol (if you are watching) would chart on MYX if they ever release a single? I mean I like some of the current finalist but I don't think any will have a hit in the Philippines IMO

Adam, Danny and Matt would most likely have hit singles if they will end up in the top 4..
They are the front runners for this season...
Remember how the 2 Davids made everyone crazy because they were the 2 front-runners last season and everyone were wanting to see them in the finals..
Same goes to the three.. Actually to Danny and Adam only.. Matt would most likely have the same faith as Elliott if he does not win.. But he has a great shot on winning this season..

That wasn't an official video since it's not an official single as well.. But if it was official, it could have been a huge hit on MYX..

Yeah, it's too early to tell. But I personally love Kris' style and music.
Adam might enter if he'll follow the footsteps of MCR.

I kinda like the type of music Adam is headed to, also Matt, but I'm seriously on the fence with Danny... seems like Taylor Hicks type of music to me IMO

IKR... It would have topped it for weeks, it was played all over that time, TV, bars, everywhere...
BTW, speaking of the Davids, wish MYX would be able to interview them when they do their concert here. That would be AMAZING!!!!

not really.. Sometimes on competition like Idol, it's so easy to tell who's going to last..
I got Carrie and Bo right, I got Fantasia right, I got Blake and Jordin right, and I got the 2 Davids right..
In terms on making hits, I got Carrie, Bo, Jordin and the 2 Davids right..
On the current season..
top 4 would most likely be Matt, Danny, Adam, and Allison (though I'm having 2nd thought now for Allison)

During Carrie's season I was rooting for her so yeah, you're probably right, also the 2 Davids... During Taylor Hicks, I was thinking of a Daughtry-Yamin finals, but that did not happen...
I :heart: Allison... she looks like she's gonna do a Avril/Paramore/Kelly Clarkson type of music...

Of course he wont, but I'm not sure if he's going to win this season.. There are a lot of good singers this season..
at first my ranking was like this
1. Danny
2. Adam
3. Matt
but now it's like this
1. Matt
2. Adam
3. Danny
but whatever happens, Danny will not have the same fate as Taylor

I agree with riskbreaker, there are times that it's easy to tell who's going to last (especially the David VS David). For Season 8, I guess Danny and Adam will battle it out. Lil will be the last woman standing and can be a strong contender for the third place. Matt, Anoop and Kris are good competitors, too. Allison's standing on DialIdol is often unpredictable.

Don't get me wrong... I like him, but I'm seeing his musical genre going to that direction -- White Boy Soul type, which is OK but you know kinda reminds me of Taylor Hicks...
