Wtf @ these basic-ass rewards for reaching level 21. You'd think they'd give you something decent for making you earn a metric shitton of XP to get there but it's just 10 of each item. I need some egg incubators, dammit.

Also ff I saw a 500 CP Wartortle today and ran out of balls trying to catch it. I was right next to a Pokestop so I ran, got more balls, and the Wartortle went down to 113. Still got it though<3 Its IVs are horrible like all my starters but now I'm up to 93 caught.<3

I can't catch Pidgey's at all anymore. Whatever bug happened with this update, every single ball falls right through the Pidgey for me

I caught two Magmars today 1 minute apart in the exact same spot, and I've never seen a Magmar before. They are almost identical, 1103 and 1102 CP, and both IV's are around 35% Both took only 1 ball to catch. I'm kind of sad because they are now my 2nd and 3rd strongest by CP, their IVs suck, and they ruined my trio of Flareon/Vaporeon/Jolteon being my 3 strongest.

Afaik it's not what level you hatch eggs at that determine CP, it's what level they were received at.

Also, I'm finding it a lot easier to catch pokemon now, they don't escape as often (except for weedles, they always escape)

No, the CP is based on what the pokemon's current cp is, being a higher trainer level won't change that. And also btw (for anyone), hatched eggs max at level 20, so there would be no bonus for hatching eggs later anyway.

Also since this update I CANT TRANSFER! It's literally not an option. I can view the Pokemon and use evolve or power up. It literally doesn't scroll down any farther. Is that happening to anyone else?

Then I have a Jolteon at 900CP and its move is thunder bolt 100!

The update added a tab on the bottom right corner. Touch it and you can transfer.

It was a big relief for my brother since he accidentally transferred a couple really high CP pokemon before.

there should be three lines on the bottom right hand corner when u select a pokemon, hit those and uw ill see an option to transfer

IVs are hidden stats that dictate how strong a Pokemon is in certain aspects.

In Pokemon GO IVs are divided into three stats: Attack, Defense, Stamina. They each have a max of 15 points.

You can use websites such as Pokeadvisor or online calculators to find out the IVs of your pokemon.

Depending how high each stat is, the Pokemon is assigned a % perfect. 14/14/15 for example would be 95.6% perfect.

IVs may not be a big deal early on, but it makes a big difference late game when it comes to attacking/defending gyms.
