The fire allegedly started from the debris of the other two towers. It would have been hot enough to weaken the steel (however unlikely them collapsing at the same time is..) but not hot enough to melt it/create oxidized iron. I mean we're talking temperatures of 2000+ degrees.
There was another respectable company (can't remember the name) who found some other metal with a ridiculously high melting point that was actually vaporized.

Molten steel is suspicious, no way to argue against that. But it was never claimed that a fire was the singular reason for the collapse of that building. It's been cited as a combination of structural damage, as well as the fire.
I believe that there was a large diesel tank in the basement. But I also doubt that this would account for the high temperatures required to bring the steel to that condition.
Though, the questioning of the collapses of the two towers seems more credible, in my opinion of course because the factors that contributed to the collapse of 7WTC are not far fetched and don't really require a cover up.
