^ but seriously @ Katy Perry's sales, I didn't realise it would do so well
I know!! But a lot of the reviews on UK iTunes are really negative. I was shocked!! Here in the US..there has been an overwhelmingly positive response to the song.

Singles
On the singles chart, Katy Perry should secure another week at number one with California Gurls (Virgin), while Kylie Minogue’s All The Lovers (Parlophone) looks set to climb back up the charts.
Albums
Eminem and Scissor Sisters look set for a closely fought competition at the top of the albums chart this Sunday, while Muse look to have benefited the most from their Glastonbury headline slot.
Eminem’s Recovery (Interscope), which sold 139,438 copies last week to top the charts, has shifted close to another 20,000 this week, putting it narrowly ahead of Scissor Sisters’ Night Work (Polydor).
The rest of the top 10 is largely static, although Muse’s The Resistance (Helium 3 / Warner Bros) could climb back into the top 10 on Sunday following the band’s Saturday night Glastonbury headline slot.
The event’s two other headliners – Gorillaz and Stevie Wonder - have also received a sales boost, with their albums Plastic Beach (Parlophone) and The Definitive Collection (Island) both making gains.
