For real. This just feels so weak and not sincere. I either need more uptempo bops or heartfelt ballads showing vulnerable emotion like Cry, The Art of Letting Go, Betcha Gon Know, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I love Mariah's discography old and new, but I'm really disappointed with this song.

I know what you mean because I loooove her vulnerable ballads (like Cry), but that's not gonna be a hit. This isn't an album track, but the only single from her next project. She can't put out a Cry-like ballad as the only single. So for what this is for, I think it's great.
