What would disappoint you guys for The Force Awakens? For me, I will be disappointed if we do not get a good lightsaber duel... I feel like it will be very minuscule in the movie compared to the prequels where we got plenty of lightsaber fights!

I feel like the only thing that would disappoint me is if the 3 villains all got killed off in this film, a main flaw of the prequels is that the villains (except Palpatine) were never given any character development and were easily disposable. I feel like JJ knows this and I'll be happy, although I do see Hux being killed off in the Force Awakens

I really hope Kylo Ren isn't a disposable character and doesn't die in this film. Also, I really hope the lightsaber battles are less rehearsed and choreographed and have wayyyy more emotion.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens obliterates US advance ticket sales record with $50m

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has smashed all known records for advance ticket sales in the US, racking up more than $50m with just under a month to go until the film hits cinemas, reports the Wall Street Journal.

The sales dwarf the previous record of $25m, set by The Dark Knight Rises in 2012, fuelling speculation that JJ Abrams’s film could challenge Avatar for the mantle of highest-grossing film of all time. With tickets having only been available since 19 October, when the latest trailer debuted, the advance figure could hit $100m if sales continue at the current rate.

To put that in perspective, the all-time opening box-office record in the US is held by Jurassic World, which debuted with $209m in June. The Force Awakens would be almost halfway there before a single screening takes place.

Advance ticket sales in the US have been fuelled by Imax screenings, with the company reporting record-breaking figures of $9m – again, double its previous best. Online retailer Fandango also reported smashing all previous known records.

I'm rewatching the movies and it got me thinking about what Yoda said in the first film. He said "There are always two. A master and an apprentice."

Do you think there could be two in the sequels? Could Kylo Ren just be an apprentice?

Kylo isn't a Sith Lord, he's part of a group called The Knights of Ren who seem to be a Vader obsessed cult (and know the dark side of the force I think)

This Vader cult thing feels a bit not enough to me. I mean to do a trilogy the movies should have a truly important threat and not just some fanboys. But I guess we'll see once the movie is out.

I Just got the new SW Battlefront on PS4 btw and I'm SO excited to play it. I'm gonna receive my PC version of the game tomorrow/after tomorrow as well
