Hang in there.
I lost my mother a few years back and it was probably the worst thing I have even been through emotionally. Take all the time you need to grieve and don't allow anyone to tell you when you should be fine. Music has a way of healing even when it feels impossible. I learned that the hurts never really goes away but you find ways to live with it and go on as that is what they would want you to do.
