Where Have You Been is a "progressive, more modern Don't Stop The Music." It's also "not basic."
EDIT - Fluorescent, the O.P., clarified her initial comment, saying that it doesn't sound like Don't Stop The Music at all really, but is reminiscent of it due to the impact it had on the music scene at the time. It's apparently a progressive sound for the U.S.
Fool In Love is a ballad, slightly reminiscent of Cold Case Love, and may contain Rihanna's best vocals.
Lyrics from one of the songs (apparently Where Have You Been):
