Sounds like both are pretty much done or very close to being done. However, her rough start in pregnancy might change things? I remember her saying they planned on doing some oversea promo early next year for the new single, but I'm not sure if she'll be healthy enough for that type of schedule? Maybe? She just started her second trimester, maybe she'll feel better?
Well "firstly" girls usually get issues on her first pregnancy, I hope Kelly's goes well.
I'm actually hoping they just release one album but make it a double-disc feature with one disc being pop and the other one being country. It would rack up more sales for that one album as both demographics would buy the album. And I hope she pushes it back to the fall.

You can only say "both demographics" if 2 demographics exist.
Kelly simply does not have a country fan base. If anything, make it a double disc so her solo country material doesn't bomb horribly.
It'll be her first country album. Of course she doesn't have a huge country fan base when she's yet to release an album in the genre. The double disc feature will let her release singles from it to country radio just like a standard album. But, country fans that want to buy the country cd will buy the pop album as well. Overall, making a double disc feature is just the smartest way to go, in my opinion.
But the higher price of a double disc set wouldn't be ideal for sales. She'd bomb altogether.
If Beyoncé can release an album with 15 songs and 15 videos for $16, I'm sure Kelly could release an album with two albums worth of songs or a double disc album for a little less than that.
