I (finally) watched Mulholland Dr. yesterday after seeing it at #1 on that best horror movies of all time (?) list. It was pretty good but I wouldn't really consider it horror enough to put it on #1. It's more mystery and mind f*ck imo.

Those scenes with Naomi and Camilla tho.

Sinister 2 was alright. The first one was better.

Still so devastated about Wes Craven's passing. He was a idol/role model and heavy influence for me growing up wanting to make horror movies.

it's actually a very good remake, very rare taking into account that the onslaught of remakes in the 00s were mostly ****. there is just one scene (the very last one) that does not make any sense with the rest of the movie and seems like a dumb afterthought.

the thing about the original is that it's sort of absurdly funny but then again absolutely gruesome... ah, the 70s were a great era in horror!

i prefer the original, but the remake is very good too. also, sara paxton <3

Sinister 2 was not as bad as you all say. Sure, it's not close to being as good as the first one, but it scared the **** out of me.

I'm more into horrors that make me jump every few minutes than the ones with ~a huge metaphore~ behind it.
