fad movie? the previous one had two huge global hits and Oscar nomination despite being about S&M, these movies are actually nicely made, it's just the source material is a disaster

yet Katy made a quick lil single for a cable network event (which is nowhere near as big as a blockbuster) and she still got dragged for Rise. That excuse isn't going to save them from the scalpings or the lashings

Rise was definitely meant to be more than a quick lil single (see the Olympics tie-in, her team buying every iTunes banner, all the airplanes they hired just for skywriting #Rise, etc)
