Hey lambs! I’ve been reading this Mariah thread for a while and thought I’d finally join ATRL so I can add to the discussion
Here’s a bit about me:
I’m a mad straight male fan (rare right? lol) from Australia. I pretty much grew up listening to Mariah ever since I was a little boy and always had a crush on her which lead me to continue being a fan to this day – although me being a fan of her when I started to get older wasn’t just because she is hot but more for learning to appreciate her lyrics and music more. Being a big music lover in general, I appreciate the lyrics in songs a lot – especially Mariah’s. I love the fact she has songs about inspiration, sadness, joy, love, heartbreak, faith, hope – literally every emotion you can feel Mariah has a song for it. Not only do I love her lyrics but the variety of genre of music Mariah has – pop, rnb, gospel, urban, jazz – she’s done it all! Being a big fan of urban music especially, I love that Mariah is such a big fan of it :P
I’m not shy when it comes to proclaiming my love for Mariah as well, to the people who know me well I refer to Mariah as my wife (thus the username lol). I’m always promoting her to my friends saying how hot she is or how successful she is compared to their favourites or telling people to listen to a song, they kinda get annoyed after a while but I don’t give a **** :P
One memory of Mariah that I can finally relive, because it took forever to happen, was experiencing her in concert at the start of 2013. She was amazing. I read on here a lot that some of your criticise her voice these days, but I have to disagree. At the Sydney concert her voice was on par, although she may have lipped parts, it was mostly live and she sounded incredible. Oh and she looked sexy as hell! Can’t believe she’s 42, Nick Cannon is one lucky dude!
