They put her in Vegas to, amongst other reasons, still make money while the demand worldwide for a Britney tour growed. Clearly there still isn't any demand since everything she has released since the residency started has BOMBED.

Like obviously J.Low would gross more in her performances because the media praises her as a great performer while they drag Britney to hell and make it sound like she does absolutely nothing on stage when she's improved a lot.
That doesn't make Low relevant. Her album sales and status as a pop star are the pits.

Mariah is more legendary than Whitney. Whitney fried her vocal cords and brain with drugs while Mariah was working hard to get all those #1s. Whitney was only successful in the late 80s and early 90s.
