I worded it like that because that's essentially what she's doing by saying "now available on iTunes."
If it said, FREE ON ITUNES that's a different thing.
But it is a bit tacky to create this beautiful piece of work and then prompt people to buy it right after. If it's a beautiful piece of work it'll just be available and people will buy it.
Imagine going to a movie and the end scene happens, it's an amazing movie, emotional, everything you wanted. And then it says:
"Now available on Blu-Ray DVD
amazon.com"
It's like? Can you give me a minute to breathe? It's just the wrong sentiment I think. I'd be here for it. I'd want to own it, but there are better ways and I think Beyoncé knows this too (which is why Formation is still free).
