I understand what you're saying but I can easily see Rihanna goin on the same route as The Clique went. Jay-Z, Kanye announced the album 1 month before its release and Beyonce just dropped it.
At this point, if what Alicia said it's right about the 2 albums in a couple a months I can actually see her releasing the lead single and announcing the album one month later.

Agree, I don't think she will do her traditional announce an album , premiere the lead on a radio, release the album in the next 2 months. But she's deff not gonna randomly drop the album on a Friday night.
