It appears that Manhattan nightclub Stereo isn’t quite big enough for the likes of both John Mayer and pop star Ashlee Simpson, the little sis of John's recent ex, Jessica Simpson.
Last week, Ashlee, 23, made the scene at Stereo’s celeb-filled two-year anniversary party, where her boyfriend, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, was playing guest DJ for the occasion. Elsewhere in the Big Apple that evening, soft-rocker John, who had been whooping it up at Alicia Keys' record release party, was on his way to join the fun at Stereo.
But sources reveal to OK! that once the songwriter, who fancies himself a comedian and who recently joked about crossing the picket lines of the ongoing writers' strike, received word that Ashlee was at the club, the 30-year-old dude opted to avoid her, biding his time at hot spot Goldbar for about 15 minutes until a friend texted him with the all-clear that Ashlee had exited the party.
John Mayer sucks anyway lol. Well, I was hoping Ashlee would get rid of Timbaland but I guess that didn't happen. But I will give the album a chance anyway. I probably will end up just throwing the new album into my archives and listening to I Am Me and Autobiography.
i'm just praying that since her album is all Timbaland, radio will ***** her songs. She needs radio now more than ever!
Also, i hope Murder isnt the first single :-/ i like it but it cant be. I heard like a 7 second clip of Rulebreaker and that was enough to convince me that that should be 1st
Hey guys I was checking "Ares" (Music Free Donwloader) yesterday and I search Ashlee's songs and Murder is taking a lot of attention in it, look how a lot of users are downloading the demo, just the demo
I don't like Timbo at all but if anything good comes out of this album it's that it should be a commercial hit. This means her 3rd #1 album and hopefully some more successful singles than she has had previously.

Robert Smith talks about his collaboration with Ashlee, Again!
Robert Smith talks about his collaboration with Ashlee, Again:
The Cure's Robert Smith addressed rumors about him working with Ashlee Simpson in V magazine. "First of all, I was mostly shocked by how fantastically widespread that rumor was ... and by how quickly it spread," he said. "I know that people were really upset by the idea that I would do that and I suppose I can understand why, but it still seems so ridiculous to me. I took my nieces to see her perform in 'Chicago' on the West End and afterward they wanted to meet her, so we went backstage and said hello. I didn't understand what the big deal was. You can say what you want about her, but she can sing. Whether or not we'd actually do anything together, I don't know. I didn't see any reason to deny the rumor as I thought it was amusing and I never deny rumors anyway. There are a handful of singers that I'd rather pull my own fingernails out than be stuck in the same room with, but she isn't really one of them. We have no plans to collaborate, though. Believe it or not, she and I don't really run into each other. [He laughed.] Now, wait a second ... Ashlee is calling on my other line and I should probably take it."
