Bon Voyage is pretty good! I need to give it a few more plays before picking my favourites but right now SHOW ME YOUR HOLLA, LOL, TOUCH DOWN, U KNOW and On Your Side stand out to me the most.
So, am I the only one who actually didn't like Bon Voyage? I really wanted to, but there were too many forgettable songs... I was literally only impressed by the one ballad and three other songs. I'll give it another listen tonight, but I'm not impressed...
I need your help urgently Utada fans. Picking 4 songs for Ace's game so I'm thinking:

I've never been this excited about an AFTERSCHOOL album! This is going to be amazing!
Finished watching Namie's FEEL Tour and was slayed endlessly
Her struggle to sing in English, her flawless vocals, her choreo, the outfit changes, the stage set up
she looked so happy throughout the whole tour
My fave performances were Alive, Ballerina, Rainbow, Let Me Let You Go & Damage

Koda has one of the ugliest tones in the Japanese music industry. Whoever told her it was ok to pull that Nicki Minaj/Roman/MarthaZolinski ******** on tracks like LOL and like half the album should be sentenced to a few months of this album on repeat. 4/10

This is due to what I call the "Inverse Irrelevance Effect". As the artist becomes less and less relevant, the proportion of fans to non-fans listening to the album increases. This causes a disproportionate and inaccurate picture of the quality of music because only the people that like the artist are listening to it. It can explain what happens with those albums on meta-critic that have 80's/90's with like 5 reviews. Or those basic PBR&B girls no one knows that have been overrated as hell these past few months.
I'll give it another listen tonight, but I'm not impressed...
