She's sold so many albums already, and Mean is such a country song... it makes me believe it won't sell well like Back To December did :-/

Well, it's still impressive and more appealing to others to see a song at #1 than a combined song
Besides ATRL & people who are really into iTunes, the rest of the world only knows the song at #1 is really #1 iTunes, no one really knows what is combined version

It will probably sell more similarly to "Mama's Song." So many people already own the album, and it's a country single only. Whatever she plans to release to pop will sell more automatically based on that.

Anyway, "The Story of Us" has not been confirmed as the next single for pop radio. Just one random Japanese site said it. Nothing else has. It doesn't even have an adds date yet. Whatever they're planning to release next, they need to do it quick before all the momentum from "Back to December" is gone.

This morning the lead of both combined at #2 & #3 was HUGE
