I was feeling like this earlier, thinking about a lot of problems I'm having lately, and I've been getting to the point of wondering how my death would affect everybody... How and when will it happen, etc. I get really into that stuff and it's just really scary. Death freaks me out, but sometimes I see it as a solution to (an awful) life. This isn't the most uplifting comment right now but I hope you're alright. What triggered you to post this blog? I'd like to know.

I been feeling like this for a while. Sometimes i am ok sometimes i am not. My life is so mundane when i am not as school i am at home alone yeah i spend time with friend etc but i still feel so alone

I know the feeling all too well, sweetie. Believe me, I probably have the worst social life of anyone on this forum. When I go to college, I feel so happy, just because I don't have to spend another moment in this house, bored to death, alone, lonely. But I also realize that there IS a light at the end of the tunnel, and that I have a lot to live for and a lot to look forward to in the future. That's what drives me and keeps me going every day and, hopefully, the same can happen for you.

Johnald, your post absolutely resonated with me, more than you could ever know. I, too, have thought about what it would be like if I were dead. Heh, like anyone would care if I died today, outside of my family.

Yeah you are right going to college is nice becase you sorround you self by new people. The thing about my college campus is the most of my classes are one one part of the campus and the people there are so damn stuck up and into them selves. Now i have black hair so i really really stand out and a it seems like a lot of people on that alone have avoided talking to me. Now my boy has taken some classes in the same area too and he has blond hair and green eyes and even he got a cold shoulder from a lot of people he is a really approchable guy who has this sweet face so i dont get why people are so ****ing snooty at school of all places.


I am looking foward to teaching one day since i love kids that is what keeps me going at the end of the day

Err sorry that was confusing i sometimes get the feeling a lot of people give me the cold shoulder when becase i stand out but it not the case since my boy has blond hair and has gotten the cold shoulder too, A lot of people when he first started out though he was a dumb blond would not give him the time of day but after a few days they open up to him


When i first started out at the school noone even talked to me for 2 weeks or even noticed my existance. Now i am generally a nice person but i dont get why people act that way at school of all places

Anyway, basically it is just a problem of being judged before someone gets to know you? I am sure there has to be a few people at your campus who you could get along with. Not to mention, those people are probably not worth it anyway. I know that is a cliché but still, if you do not do that, why try to mingle with those who do until you are sure that you have something more meaningful in common? I know friends have disagreements but if they are already disagreeing even before you are friends, well that just stinks.

I currently go to a private catholic university but it has been nice to find a few people who either were not religious/thinkprivateisthewaytogo or were open to those who were not that way. However, I think it is just harder finding your crowd if the majority of the people are not like you. Good luck with that.

Hopefully you find some reason to enjoy life again, since with the right crowd/reasons, it can feel almost surreal. Sometimes, chocolate ice cream does the trick for me... that or some silly song like (currently) Skye Sweetnam - Cartoon

Yeah you are right they are not worth my time. Chris is a lot better at that then i am. If some does not like him he like **** them i got better things to worry about me on the other hand I always want to know why and i let it bother me more

I am a really none judgmental person and i welcome everyone with open arms so it irks me how cold some people can be with out even knowing someone. Now it one thing to meet someone and not like them that your business but we supposed to be all grown up here.


That being said i have taken some classes on the other side of my school and the people are always nice and welcome me with open arms. Even had numerous strangers comes out and wait with me before class and ask us how my days was. Hell even on the second day of class i had totally stranger ask me some advise about his gf when he realized that i am actully really nice and we had some nice convos in the class.

i'm kind of scared to go to college. everytime i got to a campus (my dad is a coach at Tulane) i dont like the vibe i get. everybody seems like a douche, it makes me uncomfortable .

There is nothing to be afraid of. Perceptions can really be misleading and half of those people are probably just caught in the moment or stressed out. It is interesting how there can be so many different types of people though. I am sure both of you will find your group at some point.
