Since we're in the top 50 already, I decided to include a brief comment per album/song.

Cinematics-Set It Off
Sept. 18, 2012
-I don't exactly know much about them despite having both of their albums on my library. I do enjoy listening to the album and though the vocals isn't that outstanding and quite generic, the songs are quite good enough.
Listen to: Plastic Promises

Handwritten-The Gaslight Anthem
July 12, 2012
-A very excellent and cohesive album.
Listen to: Mulholland Drive
48.
Vulnerable-The Used
March 26, 2012
-I can't tell if this is as good as they're previous music but they seem to rely on trying to add more pop influence on this album but there are still some punk-influenced songs here which is good.
Listen to: Put Me Out

Circles Around The Sun-Dispatch
Aug. 21, 2012
-It's the first album I've heard from them even though I've learned that they have been making music for quite some time now until they went on hiatus and came back to release this album this year. I like the overall folk sound of the album.
Listen to: Josaphine

Love Is A Four Letter Word-Jason Mraz
April 13, 2012
-After the release of his smash first single, I expected the album to contain a bunch of that. I was a bit disappointed but it was still filled with soulful decent tracks mostly about love that works as a whole.
Listen to: I Won't Give Up

Eye On It-TobyMac
Aug. 28, 2012
-This is probably his most radio-friendly album. I'm not so religious but as a Christian act, he was able to use synthpop into his music as if he was just another pop artist and you wouldn't now about his Christian roots all along. The only thing is that he is sounding a lot like Owl City, not that I find it bad.
Listen to: Me Without You

Love And Fear-We Shot The Moon
Aug. 14, 2012
-I remember finding out about them this year after hearing a preview of their new album. I couldn't find where to download their latest album so I just checked out their previous works and I loved it. When I finally got the chance to listen to the whole album, I wasn't disappointed. It maintains a pretty happy and an upbeat sound without being too loud all throughout and it makes a good summer album.
Listen to: Sonrisa

Funtimes-The Heartbreaks
May 7, 2012
-An album filled with great energy from this British band is a very welcome addition to my music library this year.
Listen to: Delay, Delay
42.
My Head Is An Animal-Of Monsters And Men
April 3, 2012
-One of the best indie pop bands I've heard this year and their music keeps on growing on me. I love how both of their vocalists mix well.
Listen to: Mountain Sound
41.
Walk The Moon-Walk The Moon
June 19, 2012
-Another great discovery this year and they make know how to create very infectious pop tunes with catchy hooks that is perfect to play all summer.
