Pretty Good countdowns lately.
10.AFI - Love Like Winter (35th Day/-3/Peak:01[6])
**I'd still like to see this one retire, and It will likely fappen in the next couple weeks. But still, somebody feed the lead singer! I'll gladly take him to McDonalds! Even Nicole Richie and Hilary Duff are freaking out.
09.Ciara - Promise (10th Day/+1/Peak:05)
**Glad to see she's on the countdown, but I feel this one might be overrated. I'm disspointed that Get Up didn't get this amount of countdown exposure.
08.Shakira - Illegal (5th Day/RETURN/Peak:07)
**This could've been an excellent promo tool for the next Rocky movie coming out. At the same time, I'm not too crazy for the song, while still recovering from how much Hips Don't Lie was *****d on the radio + TV + charts.
07.Akon f/ Snoop Dogg - I Wanna Love You (4th Day/+1/Peak:07)
**Smack that > I wanna Love You. And he's a polygamist living with 3 wives? May he have mercy if all of them are bffs and he winds up pissing one of them off...while all of them are in their "time of the month" simotaneously. '~"
06.The Game - Let's Ride (Strip Club) (9th Day/-1/Peak:03)
**Glad to see he is still on as well, but he won't make it past X-Mas
05.Justin Timberlake f/ T.I. - My Love (26th Day/-1/Peak:01[4])
**I've been having suspicians that this one would slip into #8-9 positions or fall off completely. I'm still liking it, but I doubt this will see another day at #1 until it's final 5 days on the countdown.
04.Gwen Stefani - Wind It Up (9th Day/+2/Peak:02)
**Wihnd-iht-UHp! Allright Swiss-infused (chock-o-lets and clohcks!) pop song, but I'd like to see this one fall off because the video kinda sucks.
03.Beyonce - Irreplaceable (21st Day/-2/Peak:01[4])
**MWA-HA! I had a feeling this wouldn't be replaced by Listen. Still one of the best RnB songs, which will hopefully overthrow Akon on the BB100.
02.Eminem f/ 50 Cent - You Don't Know (11th Day/+1/Peak:01[3]) 14%
**I like this video for the most part, but it really should be bouncing around the #4-6 spots.
01.Christina Aguilera - Hurt (24th Day/+1/Peak:01[11]) 15%
**I will be suprised if Xtina gets under 4 nominations during this grammy season. She still blows everybody else, (with some regards to Beyonce) in terms of vocals.
Falloffs:
The All-American Rejects - It Ends Tonight @ #09
**This just makes me sad. I don't wanna see Tyson's nude ass, but c'mon this video is great and worthy of being retired.
TRL First Look:
Taking Back Sunday - Liar (It Takes One To Know One)
**Yet another personal hit for these boys, I would gladly welcome this one on the countdown.
Ludacris f/ Mary J. Blige - Runaway Love
**In my little world, this one would debut high, and spend at least 5-7 days at #1. I hope Luda along with Mary get success both inward and outward.
Notes:
- Damien hosts
**I miss him, I think he's better than Carson at times.
- On the set of Fall Out Boy and Danity Kane's new videos
**Can't Wait
- Eminem, Ciara, and Drake Bell performs next week
**Drake Bell? '~"...Yeah he's not going to do very well, but I wish him luck. ~ I'll still watch a few episodes of Drake and Josh on Nickelodeon despite his bad start into the music venture. And I think Ciara will out-do Eminem, but wow it's times like these that I wish there was a way to watch a full episode of TRL online. : (
- Next week premieres from Jay Z, Danity Kane, The Fray, and JoJo[/QUOTE]
^___^!
Jay Z = "Kingdom Come"???
JoJo = "Rain on Me" ??(or something like that?)
The Fray = No matter what it is, ^__^! They are from Denver, which is where I am.
Danity Kane = They're gaining some respect from me despite the ego that's still managing them.
3 videos I want to see fall off:
- Wind it Up
- I wanna love You
- Illegal
3 Videos that I want to see take their place:
- Taking Back Sunday - Liar
- The New JoJo video (And kevin, quit acting like Mike, TLTL is dead.)
- Evanescence - Lithium??? When is this getting premeired???? It should've happened this week.
