However, she can't deny the fact that without the pop songs she wouldn't be NEARLY as big or global as she is at this very moment, so how dare she try to disown those songs.

Um, I'm not so sure anyone should be aiming at her for her immaturity. I mean people hear are catching feelings because she won't promote a song that she isn't fond of. Great that it is smashing but she released the video that she didn't like and allowed it to be a single at some point. I'd rather her promote what she loves.
If you follow Nicki or at least a year ago she was excited about VVV but she changed her mind. She is allowed to do that. I hated PTA but now I love it. You guys are too worried about what she thinks but if what you are saying is true then maybe she started listening and opening her eyes to the fact that things didn't pan out the way she wanted them to. Ya'll are doing too much, when has she disowned her pop songs. She is going in an urban direction. Just like ppl should expect her to do starships at the BET awards, they shouldn't expect her to promote her pop songs on an urban show.
Just because an artist isn't promoting a song that you like doesn't mean they are disowning.
to my knowledge, she hasn't discredited Dr. Luke but it is clear that she has an issue with him. I think that he was probably in her ear to get her to do more pop songs...which would benefit him and not so much her. She took the chance and probably realizes that his intentions were not legit all along. I mean, when you follow her tweets when she was still in the recording studio and when you listen to her talk about Redone and trusting him its clear that there is a loss of trust there.
Let her do her and when she starts complaining about the song not hitting #1 when she's done nothing to promote it, then I will get upset. In the meantime, I'd rather focus on the song gaining close to 2M in audience per day and giving her yet another top 40 smash.
