Some of the 9s are from notoriously harsh reviewers. Sterling giving GTA V a 9 is huge, honestly, and Gamespot, especially in recent years, has become harsher.
The Gametrailers rating is the highest they've given in 4 or 5 years. Edge and Games TM, if I'm not mistaken, just gave a game a 10 together for the first time ever. There are multiple sources declaring this to be the best game ever made. Jesus christ. It's not like I need to get more hyped or anything, reviewers...
