Y'all need to let go of these concepts of "main pop girls". The ones that are huge right now are Bey, Rih, Adele and Taylor. Jury is still out on Katy, but it's definitely out for the likes of Gaga, Britney and just about every white woman over 30.
Ariana is on a smaller teir of success, no doubt, but she's clearly established some sort of connection with people to have three successful eras in three years only. You can't lump her with the Zara, Tinashe types who fight and scratch to have a semi hit.
The rest of the song is sucky though.
