Just looked at the past few pages. I think Nicki can talk about social issues and still have it "NICKI". For example, Here I Am and LAN. Even songs like Hood Story and N.I.G.G.A.S. Or videos like Your Love which has a message about giving your all to a man while not taking control of your own life.
There are ways to get your message across through storytelling while still keeping your artistry. She just has to be willing to do it right.

Imo HS is her best but that's my personal opinion... I don't think PFRR is underrated but I LOVE the rap part. And the only thing I'm sayin' is that when Only came out, ya"ll were shading it as hell because of the similarities with Senile!

Only is a massive grower, maybe the biggest in her discog for me.
When it came out I was really disappointed and didn't like it but after a couple of weeks it started slaying me.
