Again, Rihanna doesn't have success with her singles because of the sound of her voice. Nobody's buying her music to hear THAT. She has success because the majority of her career has been focused towards catering to trends.
You can't know that dummy. Different people have different reasons why they like her music. I have heard from many people in real life saying they love her voice. Same with me actually.

And this isn't some other "soundtrack single" for a tiny movie. It's one for a high anticipated sequel to a box office smash that had a massive soundtrack with two big hits. AND she's only selling <200k with Zayn's added fan base as well. Taylor just isn't cutting it
Oh, and let's not forget how the Little Loose's went in on Katy's soundtrack single when it was first estimated @ selling around 170K. Not that much of a difference!
