If she wants to make a video for every song, why can't she do like Beyonce did?

Why would Interscope push it back? Didn't Troy say, 'if it were up to the label, Gaga would have an album out now.' He said that months ago. Then again, they could have not liked the album all that much, I suppose....
I just wish nothing about the next album had been said. I already had 2013 well into my mind, because it makes most sense, but once everybody started talking about it I got used to 2012.

Was BTW really that overproduced though?  I think MDNA set new standards..even though I like MDNA.
Or like Marina does for her Acrhetypes (or what evah); Easy vids with few scenes.

Early on in 2010 during TMB, Gaga made a lot of comments and indicated the album would be out by the end of the year. We know she had written/recorded at the very least(prob more) BTW, MTN, Judas, Americano, Y&I, Bad Kids and TEOG by summer 2010. Later on, around the time that she anounced the 3rd leg to TMB, she said the album wouldn't release until 2011 because it wasn't finished yet. However, Interscope/Jeff indicated that the album was delayed so that she could properly promote it and not release it when she was in the middle of her tour. I suspect that the main motivation/reason they are pursueing 2013 is because that is when her tour will end.

I don't have a good feeling about the new era, this is BTW era all over again, and those films or videos will probably be directed by her!

TEOG wasn't recorded until October 16th 2010 though, so I fixed it

It's dissapointing but that sounds exciting if she records music videos to all her songs. Although I don't think she will really release it all at once. I think she will space them out. This better not turn into BTW video #2, GGV #46, Americano mariachi version, Bad Kids extended version, etc.

Oh thanks for the correction. She wrote it during the Summer though and it likely still could've made it on the album if it was due for end of 2010.

Honestly, a 2013 release date can be fine if she wants to come back with a bang, which means a well-thought era, with well-thought singles/promo/videos and, obviously, an album which can keep her the critical acclaim but also appeal a little more to the public. That said, she shouldn't have talked about it so much, let sound engineers/managers hype it, premiered possible album tracks, played in car new material and announced that she was going to announce the title in September if we're not getting the album until next year. It's cruel to her millions of semi-psycho fans. And also to the sane ones.
