Watched "The Gallows" and although the acting really sucks and there are some really stupid ass parts, I enjoyed it. There was a lot of suspense.

The original was okay. Death scenes are bit ridiculous, but acting was fine and I like the plot actually.
I won't watch remake then. I mean it has 3,8/10 on IMDB.

Just watched Goodnight Mommy (skipped through some parts cause it was boring)

I expected more. The 'twist' didn't really surprise me that much either. There were a few disturbing parts and the movie itself has quite nice aesthetics and creepy atmosphere, so overall it's still worth the watch.

Watching the movie, it becomes apparent quite early what is actually happening, with one kid being completely ignored by the mom, so the end in a way is not a surprising, but still realistic and tragic. I'm happy they didn't go with the usual paranormal crap, which ruins most of the horror movies.

I'm so excited for Sinister 2. Didn't quite like the trailer so much, but the tapes better deliver. They were the best part of the first movie.

I read on reddit that one of the biggest disappointments to people was the fact the mother actually did interact with the kids quite a lot but the trailer made it look like she was very distant to them. And apparently, theres a a few scenes that make no sense and theres no explanation for them? I think i'll still check it out though.
