But really, if any song stood any chance of doing so, it would be Marry The Night (Or The Edge of Glory, but well, you know).
I really, honestly think that Marry The Night has the best chance to reign this era back to where (we) want it to be. The song has signature Gaga all over it. It's a dance track. It's less complicated than her "preachy" religious songs.
Marry The Night has several opportunities to get promo boosts (4th quarter sales, Chistmas sales, seasonal advantage, new years eve boost [due to the fact it's about New York], etc,..)
Regardless, her next single choice will be the most crucial since the release of Judas. The next single release could revitalize or destroy this era.
Mark my words.
