But what it is an obvious example of is singles doing very well without a music video. Didn't get one until 3-4 weeks into its #1 run I think.

They sometimes send album tracks to radio though, I think? Like Rumour Has It was sent to radio, but we don't consider that a single (yet). Same with Raining Men by Rihanna/Nicki Minaj. I don't really know what I'm talking about though, so I could be wrong about this.
