I finally watched The Amityville Horror. Idk why I was always avoiding that movie.

I've only seen Amityville's remake, which kinda sucked outside of shirtless Ryan Reynolds and the hilariously ridiculous babysitter. I should probably see the original but... it kinda tainted the series for me

I AM excited for the new one with Bella Thorne though, the director did the Maniac remake too which was AMAZING

I hated that Travis guy. And he's such a bad actor.

Halloween > A Nightmare on Elm Street > Friday the 13th

Although, I have to admit, I'm not the biggest fan of Halloween 1, but whole franchise is consistent while NoES & Ft13 have became a joke.

Definitely get hating him, though disagreed on the performance. That was meant to be a pretty campy, not serious one (I mean, the SCREAM alone, and then the sex scene ), and I thought it was funny. He pretty much made that character for me. The worst performance was easily Amanda Righetti for me, still don't get what she was going for with that awful mommy line's delivery

And ANOES > Friday > Halloween for me, with my favs being Orig Nightmare, Friday 4, and Orig Halloween. Least favs are the ANOES remake, either the first, fifth, or Friday remake, and easily Halloween 5

I watched Misery today, I don't know if it's a Horror movie but I'd think so.
It was really great, one of the best movies I've seen. Kathys characters in AHS are soo lame compared to that, but I really liked the references to Coven. 10/10

I just finished Goodnight Mommy and it was so stupid what a ripoff of The Uninvited with the whole dead sibling, main character is actually crazy idea .

If you all want to see a GOOD movie with the same idea watch The Uninvited which is actually amazing unlike this film

So I finally got around to watching Unfriended and it was decent. God forbid I'm surrounded by people or "friends" like them

The name "Unfriended" really gives the movie a spectacular touch too. It's so literal.


Those guys really were TERRIBLE people/friends. Good lord and what's even worse is how they had no intention on confessing to each other that's really what makes the movie good tbh.

But the whole movie was pretty obvious and the deaths were underwhelming. It was obvious from the get go that Laura was gonna kill them all too.
