Someone at my school came out as gender non-binary a few months ago and about a month ago I called them by the wrong name I feel so bad about this, hence me bringing it up a month later. Should I feel really bad. I corrected myself afterwards.
One of my friends is non-binary and I also have this problem from time to time

If I see their name a lot, like on Facebook, it's not as hard to switch. Otherwise though And it's hard to remember to switch pronouns to "they" for me, I understand that's really closed-minded but I'm working on it.

Yeah it is tuff especially at first
I've noticed that I use "they" for almost everyone now though and it makes things easier and if I'm not sure how people feel about gender then it keeps me from offending them.
