What's there to like on Bedtime Stories? Survival, Secret, Human Nature, Inside of Me & Take A Bow are really nice, cute, melodic tracks but what else is there? The rest is so... blah. Tuneless percussion-fests. I've always tried and tried to get into BS but it always ends up falling flat. Is there something I'm missing?

Bedtime stories and Sanctuary, experimental and atmospheric tracks that foreshadowed the next ten years of her career.

Forbidden Love and Inside of Me = excellent, lush ballads.

Secret and Human Nature and Take a Bow = solid pop tunes.

Bedtime Stories is not better than MDNA, but it's pretty good. It ranks at the top of the worst 6 albums Madge has put out as of yet

Give Me All Your Luvin' - The only reason this song isn't great to me, is the child-like chants by MIA and Nicki. They just ruin it for me. 5/10

Although I do like the song quite a bit, I absolutely agree that they make the huge mistake of letting these girl sound like Mickey. PLEASE listen to Madge's demo with Madonna-only vocals. Her chant sounds more like a call to war. Much better. I'm convinced people wouldn't have reacted as badly if they had kept the chants mature and aggressive.
