I was ready to stan when she released the first teasers for artpop but then the applause single cover came out and I was done for real.

When Applause came out I tried to make myself care again. I pre-ordered ARTPOP on iTunes and everything. (Cancelled it a few days later, though.)

I can't believe I spent money on a song as atrocious as Applause.

Her VMA 2013 performance was probably the last time she slayed me.

I was done with Gaga when she released Alejandro. I almost got roped back in when I heard Applause was going to be an EDM heavy track, but then.... lmfao.

The performance wasn't that great but at least it's not overrated to the high heavens like that one Paparazzi performance.

I use Venus admittedly, it's camp done right with a killer chorus but otherwise Artpop was a tragedy.

Gaga tweeted me about "Applause" once! She was in the middle of a rant about ignoring negativity or something and I tweeted her asking what she and Taylor talked about at the AMAs (they sat together), and she told me that Taylor said She loved Applause.

The chorus is one of the best moments on ARTPOP but that's not saying much. Wish it didn't just sound like three songs stitched together.

Gypsy, Applause, Donatella, Jewels, Swine, and Dope are all HORRIBLE songs. I used to like Swine but it's so unnecessarily noisy.
