I'll never understand Radio 1's playlist or whatever. So if she's on playlisted does that mean they don't play her music at all? Thank god the US radios ain't like this.
It depends, because BBC is funded by the licence payer they have to support new music, and someone suggested on Buzzjack earlier perhaps they have dropped Cheryl's song after only a few weeks is because she is getting heavy airplay across the board, so they supported her initially, then are moving on to let new acts who might not get played elsewhere be heard.
Which I think is fair enough, its not like they aren't playing her, which would be worse.
Ok, but its also a #1 record, they need to chill. I feel like now she has to rush release a single since shes gonna suffer this drop in airplay

They will still ply the song, its not just going to stop being played completely, its just off their playlist, so isn't gauranteed a certain number of plays.
Capital FM will continue to spin the hell out of this anyway for a few weeks at least I'd imagine .

Too bad the album is doing terribly She needs to do more promo.
Meh, I really dont care about that anymore her team is so dumb thinking the abum will sell by itself so there's only so much we as fans can do for an artist.
