I'm watching the debate right now. Man, Sarah SUCKS! She barely answers the questions! Also, she keeps saying "NUCULAR" instead of "NUCLEAR". Goodness, this woman is a joke.

I watched only 30 minutes of it, went to the movies with my girlfriend... But I can say I was LMFAO at Palin during that half-hour.

I expected Biden to be nice, but he was just too nice. There were several moments he could have crushed her, but he was never on the offence. As for Sarah, her srategy was to avoid the questions she can't answer and use sarcasm and "tina fey cuteness" to distract viewers.
Anyway, Biden didn't do as expected.

I noticed Biden was actually speaking in a, let's say, low tune. A bit weird, looks like he certainly didn't want to humiliate her. Still, it's clearer than ever he's more capable of being VP than her.

Biden didn't do as good as I expected, but he was still good. I was hoping he would crush her, but he didn't. Sarah still made herself look idiotic many times.

Come on seriously. I believe Biden clearly won the debate, but I though Palin did a good job and made no real mistakes. Yeah, she avoided some questions as I would have too if my answer would have hurt my campaign, but she definitely did not hurt her campaign tonight.

My Review of the Palin Massacre
Palin mentions that Obama has voted with his party 95%
of the time. Granted. But Mccain has voted 100% with Bush
in 2008 and 95% in 2007 and 95% overall, and in line with
his party 90% of the time. Voting with your
party may or may not prove that youre just following party
lines [or perhaps thats why theyre your party to begin with
you share similar views] but to side with Bush so many
time... is quite frightening. HUGE "blunder" on your part Palin.
1. Because Mccain has voted with HIS party 90% of the time
and 2. Because he has commited a greater offense of voting
with BUSH 95% of the time. How can you possibly try to
gain on Obama with THAT.
all throughout the debate her language was not at all knowledgeable
and whenever the conversation didnt volley towards what her
script said she'd change the subject to fit the script she had.
very rehearsed, very badly executed and didnt deliver, hardly
answering the questions given & not much volley with Biden.
Her speech was also very nervous in tone, and not very
reassuring to the American people. If Biden was in the position
she is in, we wouldnt be afraid of the President croaking, but
Palin... Palin scares me.
Biden was very respectful, very quick with his volley.
Very charming, Very
factual in his response and kept the useless banter to a
minimum. He was very personable but also very professional
and political and very concise. I'd even take him as President.
Palins rhetoric is very simple, "the tax thing", always refering
to Alaska. At one point she says that Alaska is a big state
in terms of what? not population. In terms of Square feet
Ms Palin? are you governing square feet? Im sure the American
people would love your expertise on wildlife. THAT would sure
fix the economic mess we're in.
She disagrees with the progressional tax, which is taxing higher
to people who make more. Something that would make things
fair for the middle class, and only increase tax for those who
are more than well off. whoever doesnt see a problem with
this needs to get a fact check.
she speaks of laissez faire... ah. We have truly become the
United States of France... she needs to suck on 1776 ****.
she is apparently using the same speech writer as Bush,
what is RIGHT for America, what is this a values judgment?
she cannot depend on what she has done for her state
and what she has done in energy, she cannot change the
subject from economics to energy. She wants to drill in Alaska
something that would kill so many endangered animals whipe
them off the planet and kill nature.. very contradictory to her
whole green speech.
She speaks about protecting womens rights... WOMANS RIGHTS?
i actually chuckled with this one because she wants to overturn
roe vs. wade... WTH are you talking about protecting womens
rights abroad when youre destroying womens rights here?
and Gay rights, get out of here she wants to "pray the gay away"
she speaks about a second holocaust, going off on tangents
that do no pertain to the conversation. She has no political
knowledge. She says she knows what a VP does, she defines
it as "presiding over the senate" oh yea? Dude has the basic
high school students history knowledge. Congratu****inlations
doggonit!
Maverick? the maverick of yesteryear is gone, he has voted
repeatedly with Bush, and continues to do so. Oh yeah what
a "good team" you have Palin, Guiliani and his 4 wives,
Mccain the crypt keeper, and perhaps you guys have an
office job for bush. We dont need a "good team" we need
a new team, a different team, a GREAT TEAM.
All in all Biden took this debate by a landslide, he was
confident, he used facts to back up his statements, his
volley was incredible, fast response yet calm and collected
hardly stumbled, if at all. Very well prepared but not rehearsed
you can tell he knows his stuff, and is prepared to lead
because of this. He does not hang on a thread nor does
he use simple rhetoric to reel in the common people. This
is a time where cute faces and hooky personalities just
wont do for this country. Palins ending statement was as
abysmal or perhaps worst than her whole shpeal. Biden ended
the debate with a bang. And for the first time since Clinton
Gore -- we have a face for BOTH President and VP, and
Great faces at that. November here we come!

Palin wasn't that bad. There is too much hatred against her. Biden won the debate. If he didn't, it would have been absolutely embarrassing to him. But Palin did a good job (much better than I expected). Too many people have closed minds. I hate that and this is coming from an Obama supporter.

After rewatching some clips, it seems that Biden was seriously neutered by Obama advisers, because he just wasn't himself. Palin was able to attack much more directly to Biden because she didn't expect to get hit back. Also, what was with him and that joker smile he gave the whole time  you could tell he was holding back.
Can someone please post the poll numbers of the debate from CNN.com ? I can't check with my phone.
