*points @ Love Sex Magic*
Deserved to smash any and all fomats of radio.
Just because it was a hit doesn't make it as good as the songs I mentioned *flips hair* .... Love Sex and Magic was a perfect example of how trying to change your sound for a hit can almost end a career. Let's not!
this tbh
I don't know what they think when choosing IO Maybe they overrate Nicki power But LIU is a much better choice
In conclusion, her team is dumb
I'm Out actually had potential. The song didn't do well because it was released digitally a week after the BET Awards performance and it didn't have a radio deal to push it up. That performance clearly helped because the video gained 14 million views in 1 week and that's great if you compare it to Body Party.
I'm Out was never gonna "smash" I don't think. But it had an amazing video, Epic just screwed it up like everything else
Plus Body Party sucked all the radio attention away from it.
It wasn't a smash but I would have been bigger than Body Party for sure if Epic had handled the release right.
But like you said, Epic screwed it up like they always do.
If you ask me, BP in the US alone >>>>> IO worldwide
Actually IO could've been a moderate hit based on digital and streaming if Epic had had a good marketing strategy tho But it would never be a smash hit because it' not radio friendly

Let them know the WORLD was hungry for I'm Out & don't get me started on the Livin' It Up receipts.
Anyways, Overdose better make BP and IO look like trash. So far, Overdose isn't really doing much (US) even though it's doing okay on radio so far.
