I agree, red is a really bold color, but it fits my style typically so it works. I highlighted my hair a light brown color so it went well with my hair and skin tone. Have you ever tried "RiRi Woo?" OMG, I literally spent over $100 on Rihanna's MAC line.

Plum? You really are going for the daring look. Just make sure you don't go overboard with the eyeshadow like some. They end up looking a hot ass tranny mess. It never fails when I go out to the club/parties and see them with that dreadful makeup. Like, they seriously be thinking they're "ON."

Rihanna MAC line is flawless, I know this will sound really stupid but I'm more confident with it

I say the same thing! It comes with a little "swag" if you will. I be going to work thinking I'm all that and a bag of chips.

Shut the front door, Katie. Seriously? Not even blush, eyeliner, or toner?
Don't get me wrong, I DESPISE heavy makeup usage, but even the basics I can't go without.

I actually forgot about Rih's MAC line.
Speaking of tranny looks, the whole eyebrow filling with the pencil and shadow is something I'm scared of trying myself too. I'd up and unintentionally give myself some bold chola brows thinking I slayed. Should just stick to baby steps and my minuscule routine.

Nope. Not even foundation or lip gloss. Weird, I know.
I couldn't live without the ability to touch my face. I rub my eyes a lot so it'd be a nightmare

Today in Psycology, we were talking about the media + it's impression & influence on women. And we got to the topics of beauty & objectification. My teacher told us of a debate between two girls - one who was more for the intellectual side of things, and one who liked to be "objectified" (not her words, what the general consensus was). Basically she said that she said she liked when a guy complimented her on her looks and body and that she worked hard on those things. And that she liked male attention. So that got me thinking, is that truly objectification? What about women who genuinely like to feel "pretty" and like when guys notice it? They also showed some documentary, which featured sexual videos (including two of Britney's ) to show objectification. But again, what about women who genuinely like to be sexual? And then with the "man's idea" of what sexy is. Well why can't some men and women share the same idea of sexy? And what about women who liked the man to be dominant in the bedroom? Aren't there women who get turned on by that? Why is women being subservient in the bedroom seen as a bad thing? Like the "fully clothed" arguments. "Well why doesn't Beyonce have Jay-Z dancing around her naked while she's fully clothed if they're so equal"? Like doesn't it all come down to sexual taste?
i have a lot of thoughts

Women should be as sexual as they like to be
This thread needs to be revived

We got to stick together y'all. There's so many sexists on this forum, that it's ridiculous. Considering the fact that this thread is predominantly populated by another oppressed group in gays, it really baffles me; however, they're still men.

The darkest lip color I have at the moment is Sephora's Rogue Cream in "Super Hot" (39). I love it because it contrasts with my skin tone quite nicely.

I have one dark lipstick and it's pretty much the only one I use. It's Cherry Bomb by Wet n Wild and it looks so good against my skin tone
I don't really wear makeup unless I'm going to a party or something. I'm too lazy to put it on everyday

I like to believe that people are just misinformed. I don't think these people really think about the things they say or how they live their lives. Sexism and gender politics is not something that's in their lives predominantly so they just don't see what we see. It's "ignorant" in the literal sense of being uninformed
