The most incredible Good Morning America performance of all time is of this track. Throw in a loving Wendy Williams reference, and it's not perfect - but definitely worth it.
This is a fun song. I dance to it in tha shower all the time
Mariah often reaches back to the 80s to cover songs she grew up with (If You Should Ever Be Lonely, Stay Awhile, Make It Last Forever, Just Be Good to Me), but this time it was personal. I Still Believe, a minor hit by freestyle singer Brenda K. Starr in the late 80s, was one of Mariah's first studio credits - she sang backup on it. When she covered it for #1s, Starr FLIPPED OUT and went on radio to curse Mariah to the ground. La India, classic merengue singer, was not having it, and told her to get herself together live on local radio.
This is my favorite KARAOKE song of Mariah because i can sing it well.

Mariah's 90s success in the UK was huge, but it never equalled what she accomplished in her home country. Nevertheless, starting with I'll Be There in 1992, she had twelve consecutive top ten hits there. For some reason, this song was the only one of those twelve to top the British charts - and the charts of most European countries. Here, it peaked at number three.
My Take: A very craven, crass move on the part of Tommy Mottola to give Mariah her own I Will Always Love You - but hey, it sort of worked.
NOOOOOOOOOOO
what's wrong with your ears guys, the best cover ever, one of the most emotional songs
Without a doubt the last great single Mariah Carey has released. With that, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel is the first album to be completely eliminated.
