I think people ignore just what "records" mean. Singles, albums, ringtones, remixes, etc. all count towards overall record sales. Artists can sell millions of ringtones in Asian countries without any company reporting it, meaning the only people who will know are the labels who provide the content. With as big as songs like 'Poker', 'Dance', 'Romance', and 'Born' were, it's in no way hard to believe she's sold this many singles.
