Nah I think it's fine for her to use her position of power to address gay rights issues, but she should ease off on the interviews. She needs to find a way to make straight fans feel like she loves them too that sounds funny.

omg me too!!! I kind of wish she would have went a bit further and pushed it as far as she could go as far as rock. But I'm sure the majority of the people would not have wanted it that way so I am fine with her decision.
I hate that Christian groups do this. I don't get why they target homosexuals. Sure, that is what the Bible says, but the Bible was written during a time in which homosexuality was a crime. If we followed every rule in the Bible, we wouldn't eat pork, women would have to cover their faces and men would be committing adultery if they found any woman except their wife attractive. Things really need to move with the times. The current cultural context is much different than the Biblical one, in that we accepts homosexuals for who they are. Why can't (many, but not all) Christians do the same?
I think I 'get' girls more than guys. I'm not the type of guy who wants to sleep with everything in sight or who wants to listen to real 'manly' music and do 'manly' sports. I would much rather drink a cocktail than beer, which is something else that always brings up the question...

This. We live in a brainwashed society that probably will always think that gays are bad. I hope we can change this reality.
