I don't get it. Xmas songs feel really big here, maybe it just has to do with demographics (i.e. most listeners of Xmas songs here are older, whereas in the UK more younger people listen).

Blame his team, they are doing all this promo but didn't bother about the most important factor in getting a #1 hit these days which is streaming. This will continue to happen with his next singles, so I guess no more #1 hits for this era.

Some artists are getting a lot of promo on Spotify like Drake and the weeknd and even songs that are so old and wasn't much of a success are still being promoted for there.

Would be interesting to in some way measure how much a spot inside TTH makes for a song!
But look at WUTB for example. It was almost immediately put there after it was "released" and reached top 60 in like a week. When it was pulled off the list it has barely entered top 100.
It's extremely important for newer releases and that arent featured in other big playlists and kind of has the same function as radio.
I guess labels pay spotify for having the songs in TTH.

Idina Menzel - Let It Go is probably the biggest song of the decade in Utah.

I've been there before (in 2010), and when I've seen Panda or Black Beatles #1 there on Youtube I find it difficult to imagine the people there listening to those songs haha. The closest to hip hop I heard in Utah was like Live Your Life and Airplanes.
