I love Sims 2 Apartment Life, it's the best EP from TS2, even the addition of magic felt natural somehow, playing AL and Free Time was a good combo so (finally) I am hyped for a Sims EP, oddly enough, the last time I was hyped was for Late Night.
However, those selling points seem a bit... vague, then again, the email doesn't have much on it, they should have renamed it Get Your Life In The City to fit the previous titles

That's a horrible name
But yeah, Free Time and Apartment Life are two Expansions I used quite frequently.
I have a hunch the team will go with Vampires instead of Witches Or won't at all.

I'm trying so hard to not download TS3 nad some expansions because I know that I will have to also download bug fixes, patches, some store sets, CC, etc.
My Mac can't handle too much happening in the Sims 4, so today I put all the graphic settings to "Medium" Not thaaaat big of a difference, but still annoying
A city world with apartments (new lot type) and penthouses (regular lot on high-rise)
New tourist NPCs (they have different priorities/habits than townies; e.g. check city map, take selfies more often and usually travel in a group of 3-6 Sims (we are currently discussing if the groups should be larger, so it might be different in the final version)
New cultural food (e.g. indian); ability to learn the recipe by eating similar to Restaurant Time’s experimental food
Also there are new features and UI improvements planned for the patch prior to EP3’s release later this year
I guess this EP will get released on Q4 or Q1 2017? Only 1 EP this year. How exciting.

i agree a lot with what he said. This game is a sinking ship and apartment and cultural festivals won't be able to save it
Too bad it's selling like hot cakes.
Everyone wants The Sims 4 to be a 2/3 kind of game and it's just not.
It's a throwback to the original Sims days. And EA did this because the original Sims is what connected to the most players. And that's exactly what The Sims 4 is doing.
EDIT: I say this meaning that The Sims 4 is doing well, and getting EA coin. So don't expect them to change the plan that is working better than it did for The Sims 2 etc.
