Not only that, but Sims waving their hands in The Sims 2 and 3, when there are obvious alternate routes is not even worth it.
It's a rare instance when Sims have routing fails in the Sims games without terrain tools, which includes The Sims 4.
Kings such as the Sims console, The Sims Bustin Out, Urbz, The Sims 2 console games and some of The Sims 3 console games reign supreme.
I don't start yelling at my screen when my Sims starts waving their arms and pees on the floor when all they had to do is walk around.
When the terrain is uneven, it's incredibly hard for AI to route Sims.
The Sims 4 does have a lot of areas that aren't flat, but when it comes to buildings, they were removed by choice.
They said they would consider reimplementing if the demand was there, but people who play it prefer without.
